During the manor period, the blue hall was used as an extension of the ballroom during large parties. It is possible that it was also used as a children’s room extending from the countess’s back room.
The Soviet era had a devastating effect on the castle, with fireplaces and wall decorations in the halls being torn out.
Today, we have restored the beauty of the blue hall. In 2004, a large ceiling pattern was completed, painted by art teacher Maris Tigas. In 2005, a fireplace made of blue oven pots was completed, for which we thank fireplace master Paul Neevo.
The pride and honor of the Blue Hall is the grand piano crafted by J. Stein in 1880.
The windows of the hall offer a beautiful view of Lake Pikajärv, which in German-language materials was called Lagensee.
The Blue Hall can be separated from the other halls and used for smaller gatherings or meetings. The hall also has access to a separate sauna, which makes the evening especially pleasant.
